More Rental Housing For Cochrane
Thank you to Housing & Urban Affairs, Province of Alberta for funding more affordable rental units for the Town of Cochrane. On April 2, 2009, Janis Tarchuk, Minister of Children's Services and MLA for Banff-Cochrane presented a cheque to the CSHO for more than $1.7 million.
The Cochrane Society for Housing Options has developed an affordable housing plan that targets low-moderate income individuals, families and seniors. 10 -2 bedroom condo units have been purchased in a project that will soon be under construction and ready for occupancy in 2010. The units will be located at Rocky View Pointe, 105 Glenbow Drive, and will include two barrier free/wheelchair accessble units.
Thank you to Pointe of View Developments for their commitment to this project.
